80th Anniversary - 2007 COMPETITIONS

(A) 80th Anniversary LOGO Creation Competition
(B) 80th Anniversary BANNER (12ft L x 4ft H) Competition

Guidelines
1. Theme
The general theme of the 80th anniversary celebration is ARISE! SHINE! As we celebrate our 80th birthday, we want to challenge all GB girls to arise as a generation of Esthers, impacting and contributing to our community, that all GB girls will inspire and influence our peers to do likewise.

2. Elements
- GB Badge
- Text 80th Anniversary
- Text: year 1927 to 2007
- LOGO Tagline: ARISE! SHINE!
- Banner Tagline: Linking Hearts, Serving Communities

3. LOGO Rationale
The logo must be accompanied by a rationale that highlights the main message that the logo tries to convey and also explain the use of colours or other design elements.

4. LOGO Versions
The anniversary logo can be submitted in :
- black & white
- colour

5. Presentation for both LOGO and Banner
All entries must be at least A5 in size but not larger than A4. It must be a hard copy that is properly mounted to avoid damage. In view of possible software incompatibility, please note that soft copy files are disallowed. If your entry is chosen, you will be requested to submit the source file.

5 more days to GB Day! The Day for GB girls to go to school in our smart GB uniform! Volunteer to do flag-raising or some other service in the school. The GB President's Message will be read at your school assembly. This message will be sent to your school principal via MOE's intranet.

yesterday was enrolment sunday... i finally got to see who the sec 1s are ((:

and of course i got to see my fellow gb mates i love love love soooo much.

Hi Girls:

Thanks you for the effort by coming down yesterday afternoon to prac ur drill. We are encouraged and we hoped you are too. Here are the videos and photos.

Watched the video carefully and looked out for your the errors you had made and practiced ur salute in front of the mirror!

You are going to look smart with the GB uniform on GB Day and this Sunday Enrolment Service!

For those girls who missed the drill prac, U better watched the video and improve your drill in front of the mirror!
